Sentry

A real-time error tracking tool. It gives insight into production deployments and information for reproducing and fixing crashes. Sentry uses an SDK to capture data. It integrates with many popular programming languages, including Python, C#, JavaScript, PHP, Java, etc.

SharePoint

A web-based Microsoft's document management and collaboration tool, the system that can tie a lot of PCs and mobile devices together, can be used for coordination by companies with a hundred employees.

Silverlight

A free plug-in and a development tool that is powered by the .NET framework. It is used for creating user experiences for mobile applications and the web. The latest versions supported multimedia and graphics, alongside media streaming.

Simulink

A model-based graphical programming environment, used for simulating dynamic systems. Simulink also offers features for analyzing, testing and MATLAB integrations. It allows one to see a representation of a design under consideration without needing to write the code.

Slack

The name is an acronym for 'Searchable Log of All Conversation and Knowledge'. A cloud-based team collaboration tool for organizing and simplifying communication on a project. It is also available for desktop and mobile devices.

Slurm

A workload manager used to schedule jobs in different-sized Linux clusters. Slurm has three key functions: 1) giving access to users for a limited period of time to perform a certain action; 2) providing a framework for executing and monitoring these actions; and 3) managing a queue of work that is pending.

SonarQube

An open source platform used to manage source code quality. It provides code analyzers, reporting tools, defects hunting modules and TimeMachine. It is written in Java, but can analyse code in approximately 20 programming languages.

SourceTree

A free Mercurial and Git Client for Windows and Mac platforms. It provides a graphical interface for repositories, between users and Git, in which simplifies its use for beginners, who haven’t mastered Git, and experts, who can be more productive focusing solely on the code.

Splunk

A platform for analyzing and monitoring machine-generated big data with a web-style interface.  It provides different tools for generating graphs, reports, alerts, visualizations, and other graphics, based on the data collected into a searchable repository.

SQL Developer

An Oracle Database IDE with a graphical UI that is used for working with SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Java Procedures, and XML in order to simplify managing database tasks. It also support other Oracle products and enables use of third-party extensions and plugins

Squid

A high-load tool for caching and forwarding HTTP, FTP web proxy, used for speeding up a web server, for caching web, DNS, other sharing network resources, and also for aiding security. 

Storm

A web service testing tool. It allows to test web services regardless of what technology it was written in, using mockup clients that can be disposed of after the test. It also fast, scalable, secure and can be used for real-time analytics

SVN

A version control system mainly used for managing source code. Allows editing of the source files by multiple people, tracking merges, adding metadata to files and directories. It also offers interactive ways of conflict resolution, among other features necessary for a VCS.

SwitchYard

A development framework for building and managing service-oriented applications. It provides the project with full life cycle support. SwitchYard offers feature for easy software development, as well as its deployment. The tool works with Apache Camel.

Tail

A program on Unix-like systems that outputs the last parts of a piped data or text file. 

Targetprocess

An integrated web-based project management tool that focuses on the Agile methodology. Targetprocess provides an intuitive visual interface to manage software development projects. It offers features for using Scrum, Kanban or customized approach.

TeamCity

A Java-based build management server, tool-set for CI that enables to quickly build sophisticated automated pipelines. It can automatically find hanging builds, finding duplicates, building statistics charts, and more.

Team Foundation

A back-end management tool for Visual Studio and Eclipse developers from Microsoft. It provides controls for managing requirements, projects, labs, and releases and covers the entire Application Lifecycle Management. 

Teamscale

A code tool. Analyzes a source code, monitors the quality and provides feedback within seconds.

TestRail

A test management software developed for development teams and QA that can manage test cases, integrate with test automation and has other significant ffeatures that boost your testing results. 

Azure DevOps Server

Formerly known as Team Foundation Server (TFS). A project management tool. It is used for making reports, managing source code and requirements, as well as managing tests and releases. It offers features that enable Agile methodology and can be used with any IDE.

Xymon

Xymon, a network monitoring application using free software, operates under the GNU General Public License; its central server runs on Unix and Linux hosts.

Thrift

An interface definition language and binary communication protocol that is used to define and create services for numerous languages, such as C++, Java, Python, PHP, Ruby, Erlang, Perl, Haskell, C#, Cocoa, JavaScript, Node.js, Smalltalk, OCaml, Delphi etc.

Traceur

A compiler that enables use of new and proposed JS language features on ES6. It is written in ES6 and also supports experimental ES features. It also offers a demo for trying out some of the langueage features online in a browser.

Travis CI

A distributed continuous integration service. It is used to build and test software projects hosted on GitHub. It also simplifies testing and deployment of the app. It supports most programming languages, including Python, Ruby, Node, Java, Go and others.
