Interesting facts

In 2009, the concept of the Haskell Platform was developed - a standard language distribution that includes, in addition to the compiler (GHC), additional tools (the Cabal assembly and deployment system) and a set of popular libraries. Now Haskell Platform is the recommended base distribution for developers. Ready-made Haskell Platforms are available for Windows, MacOS X and a number of Linux distributions.
