Interesting facts
R uses the command-line interface, although several graphical user interfaces are available, such as R Commander, RKWard, RStudio, Weka, Rapid Miner, KNIME, and integration tools into office packages. In 2010, R entered the list of winners of the Infoworld magazine [en] in the nomination for the best open software for application development.
