DBaaS
Stands for Database-as-a-Service. It is a service model where a database is created, stored and maintained in a cloud, with no need to download and install software, where the database can be accessed from any place. Cloud databases support both SQL and NoSQL data models. Some of DBaaS examples are SimpleDB, Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, and others.
