Serverless Framework

An application framework designed to build, deploy, and maintain serverless code. It has expanded into an extensible suite of tools.


Automatically distributes incoming application traffic across multiple targets, such as Amazon EC2 instances, containers, IP addresses, and Lambda functions. It can handle the varying load of your application traffic in a single Availability Zone or across multiple Availability Zones. 

Amazon SNS

Stands for Amazon Simple Notification Service. Amazon SNS is a notification service provided as part of Amazon Web Services. It provides a low-cost infrastructure for the mass delivery of messages, predominantly to mobile users.


Talend is an open source software platform which offers data integration and data management solutions. Talend specializes in the big data integration.

Amazon Aurora

Amazon Aurora is a MySQL and PostgreSQL-compatible relational database built for the cloud, that combines the performance and availability of traditional enterprise databases with the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of open source databases.

Cloud Native

An approach for optimizing systems for the cloud. It harnesses the cloud’s most powerful advantages—flexible, on-demand infrastructure and powerful managed services—and pairs them with cloud-optimized technologies like microservices, containers, and continuous delivery

Elastic Load Balancing

Elastic Load Balancing distributes incoming application or network traffic across multiple targets, such as Amazon EC2 instances, containers, and IP addresses, in multiple Availability Zones. 

Amazon Route 53

Route 53 is a managed DNS service from Amazon Web Services, intended for managing DNS for machines and services deployed on Amazon’s public cloud. Route 53 connects user requests to infrastructure running on AWS, such as Amazon EC2 instances, ELB load balancers or Amazon S3 buckets.

CompTIA Network+

CompTIA Network+ exam tests the ability of a networking technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support a network, and understand various aspects of networking technologies, including TCP/IP and the OSI model.

Amazon Kinesis

An AWS based tool for collecting, analyzing and getting insights from real-time, streaming data. It is self-managed and can process any amount of data. Kinesis has a separate feature for video streams and uses machine learning and business intelligence techniques.

AWS Lambda

An event-driven, serverless computing platform provided by Amazon. Runs code in response to events and automatically manages the computing resources required by that code. Allows developers to program functions on a pay-per-use basis without having to provision storage or compute resources to support them.


A secure cloud services platform, offering compute power, database storage, content delivery and other functionality.

AWS CloudFormation

A cloud tool for across the board modeling and provisioning resources in application development. CloudFormation allows you to preview how changes in a stack may influence the resources, manage dependencies and use ready-made templates to describe AWS resources or create your own. It also offers a safe and controlled environment with little room for error.


Microsoft's cloud computing platform. Provides a comprehensive set of cloud services to build, deploy, and manage applications through a global network of Microsoft-managed datacenters. Microsoft Azure offerings fall into three main categories: IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Azure supports a range of operating systems, programming languages, frameworks, databases, and devices.

Azure Arc

Azure Arc is a service from Microsoft that extends Azure's management and governance capabilities to resources located outside the Azure cloud. It enables organizations to manage their resources, including servers, Kubernetes clusters, and data services, across on-premises, multi-cloud, and edge environments, using familiar Azure tools and services.


Backend as a Service, or BaaS (sometimes referred to as mBaaS), is an approach for providing web and mobile app developers with a way to link their apps to backend cloud storage and processing while also providing common features such as push notifications, social networking integration, etc.
